The Parenting with Cancer Pop-Up Writing Workshop

Parenting With Cancer: Personal Narrative, Prompt Style Writing Workshop (Free)

Tuesday, September 20, 1:30p PT / 4:30p ET (90 min)
Live (Zoom), 90-min Meet Up

The Parenting with Cancer Pop-Up Writing Workshop is dedicated to all those who have dealt with not only the trials of a breast cancer diagnosis but have done it while also wearing the “mom” hat. Neither job is easy — patient or care provider — and doing both at the same time can be overwhelming on a good day. So many decisions, so much to do when all you really want is to crawl under the covers.

Writing gives you the space to work through and make sense of what you are facing. Doing so in a group of others who understand can be life-changing. Join our September free workshop to write alongside other moms who get the daily struggles. It will give you a light to follow in a dark tunnel.

Join Dr. Susan Love Foundation for their next webinar on May 18 hosted by the team at QT Imaging, Inc. who will present their initial findings of woman’s ducts. We believe that if there is an accurate understanding of the ductal system, we could better treat breast cancer. #Move2RaiseHell Virtual Race for Research - The Pink Agenda

Join The Pink Agenda on Sunday, June 6, 2021, for our first-ever #Move2RaiseHell Virtual Race for Research! TPA supporters from across the country will embark on their own 3.8 mile walk, run, bike, swim, or activity of their choice to raise money for lifesaving breast cancer research. Held in conjunction with National Cancer Survivor’s Day, the 3.8 mile journeys will celebrate the more than 3.8 million women and men who have undergone breast cancer treatment in the U.S.

Research shows that a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise, can play a role in reducing risk of developing breast cancer and in improving outcomes for those diagnosed. By participating in the #Move2RaiseHell Virtual Race for Research, supporters will fund a half hour of crucial breast cancer research and honor the millions of people who have been impacted by this disease.

Supporters can participate individually or as part of a team. All participants will receive a printable bib, sharable social media assets and fundraising tips, and a digital day-of guide to enhance their experience on Sunday, June 6. Prizes will be given for reaching fundraising milestones, and top fundraisers will receive special recognition on “race day.”

Incentives include:

  • First 50 participants to register & First 25 participants to create a team: TPA sunglasses

  • Participants who raise $250: TPA face mask

  • Participants who raise $500: TPA baseball hat

  • Participants who raise $1,000: Tickets to The Pink Agenda’s Annual Gala in New York City or Atlanta (alternate prizes available if located outside of markets.)
