Last Thursday was the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation Benefit. Host, Hoda Kotb not only was an amazing host, she opened up and shared her story. I want to share a quote she shared that a gentleman on a flight spoke to her. He said cancer is a part of you, just like your job and every day things. “Don’t hog your journey. It’s not just for you. Think of how many people you could have helped. You can put your troubles deep in your pockets and take them to the grave or you can help someone.” These words really resonated with me and I hope one day you are comfortable with sharing your story.
