Join Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research and Researchers Tonia Poteat, PhD and Lorraine Dean, ScD on Wednesday, November 11 at 1:00pm PST to discuss this closed Love Research Army Study. The purpose of this study was to learn about the best ways to improve access to breast cancer care and treatment for members of the Black LGBQ-SGL community. The research team wanted to enrolled 15 Black LGBQ-SGL women in qualitative interviews and over 800 diverse women completed quantitative surveys. The initial Call to Action for this study was sent to LoveRA members on January 17, 2018 and the researchers closed enrollment on October 29, 2019. 122 participants reported being referred to the study by the AOW.
