*Free* Pop-Up Writing Workshop: Staying Grounded During the Holidays
$0.00
With Halloween and American Thanksgiving around the corner, soon the December holiday season will be here.
While some might be excited about the coziness, pretty lights, and the Hallmark channel movie marathons, you might be experiencing anxiety and stress around the expectation to spend money and find the energy to be extra social. The holidays can be A LOT on a good day, but add in a cancer diagnosis, and it can all feel a little unmanageable.
Join our November free Pop-Up Writing Workshop and learn how to use writing as a way to stay grounded during stressful times like the holidays. You’ll hear others share how the holiday season affects them, too, so you know you’re not the only one having to bolster yourself.
When: Tuesday, November 14, 12:30pm PST / 3:30pm EST
Where/How: Live via Zoom
Cost: FREE
Why: Want to write about your experiences but aren’t sure where to begin? Maybe you love writing but have a hard time finding the time or maybe you don’t write currently but would like to try. A prompt-style writing workshop is just the thing for you. Prompts help you enter the page and guide your thoughts, so you don’t have to stare at a blinking cursor feeling lost and discouraged.
Join your Wildfire community on Tuesday, November 14 to learn how to start writing with others who understand you. In this 1.5 hour workshop, we’ll write away some of our stress — and find some healing in the long run by using writing as a tool to find meaning. You’ll make new friends and fill a notebook along the way, even if you don’t consider yourself a writer! No writing experience is necessary to participate.
