What has been the most challenging part of living with shelter in place? What has been the most challenging of your cancer diagnosis and treatment? I am 5 years cancer free, but as things got worse I still feared coming in contact with someone who was sick. This was just as I was 5 years ago about when I had no white blood cells and worriying about being near someone who was ill.

It has also just been challenging for me with an almost two year old and not being able to let her out to run around. Not easy when you live in the city with no back yard and people are all over the park across from your house. I am an active person so it’s been a challenge in so many ways; canceling my flights to California and South Carolina, not being able to go to Pilates and Yoga (I’m too distracted at home), not seeing friends and family and not being able to explore the city especially when it’s Spring and Chicago weather is now just on the up and up.

I know we will get through this just as I got through my cancer treatment, but it’s not easy and that’s ok. I hope you all are able to find support doing these challenging times. You are allowed to feel the way you feel and don’t let anyone tell you different. You are not alone - I am here for you. Let’s Liv & Let!
