Today it’s Father’s Day! I came across this quote that I thought was beautiful for today. “It is admirable for a man to take his son fishing but there is a special place in heaven for a father who takes his daughter shopping. Every man can be a father, but not every man can be a dad.”
So many men become fathers, but the true and honorable man is the one that is a dad! Dads go out of their way to build relationships with their children. I am grateful to have a Dad that has been there for me - to comfort, guide and be a role model.
I knew from the moment I met my husband that he was going to be an amazing dad. He is the man that will take his daughter shopping; he already goes shopping for his daughter. His number one song is “Let It Go” from Frozen. Not many men can say that!
Today we celebrate all of the men who are fathers, father figures and dads!f
